ADVANCING THROUGH THANKSGIVING – AUDACIOUS pt III

The difference between you and the desired position you have always dreamt of, is that bold step you have refused to take because of FEAR. What are those things in your life that fear has hindered you from achieving?

Let’s take a quick look at David’s profile as at the time he killed Goliath. (1 Sam. 17:26)
David Jesse was a 17-year old boy with no war experience and no murder history, likewise. All odds were against him, yet he recognized his responsibility to set his nation free from oppression. All the odds were against him, yet the fate of a nation relied on the shoulders of a 17-year old boy. All the odds were against him, yet he succeeded. Some of the things he did were;

• He asked the right questions. (1 Samuel 17:26). Once you recognize and analyze your problem, the issue is already half-solved. Sometimes, all you need do is a little research and that mountain-like problem is crumbled.
• He shut out negative voices. If he had yielded to the voice of his brother, Eliab, he wouldn’t have achieved his purpose. Take great caution of those that are not making progress and don’t want you to make progress either.
•He was prepared. He didn’t even know what he was going to encounter at the battleground, yet he went along with his sling. (1 Sam. 17:40 NKJV) Opportunities do not announce their arrival, they just show up. How prepared will you be?

As we go into the new month, do not take preparations with levity. Do not throw opportunities away. You might be one opportunity away from your breakthrough, do not be caught unprepared.
