God’s Determined Goodness

God’s word of ‘determined goodness’ came to the children of  Israel through Prophet Zechariah after they had left captivity- Babylon for Jerusalem (to rebuild the Temple) and it looks as if there is no hope of a better tomorrow for them.

Often times as believers too, we go through difficult times and it looks as if God has refused to answer our prayers; even sometimes we always attach it to the sin of our fore-fathers or the ones that we ourselves committed in the past, whereas Jesus had already forgiven us and set us free from the bondage of sin.

No wonder, God had to send His words of hope and comfort through His prophet in Zechariah 8:14-15 which says;

“For thus says the Lord of hosts:

‘Just as I determined to punish you
When your fathers provoked Me to wrath,’
Says the Lord of hosts,
‘And I would not relent,
¹⁵ So again in these days
I am determined to do good
To Jerusalem and to the house of Judah.
Do not fear.” NKJV

Always know that our God is a good God, He will do us good and because He is good, He want us to be good as well.

Below are vital things to know and do in order to attract and sustain His goodness;

1. Be conscious of God’s Faithfulness,
2. God in His Loving kindness is able to forgive us,
3. There is hope for You,
4. There is expectation from God.
