I Am The Living Water

Jesus came to this world particularly for the redemption of man, He also came to bridge the enmity gap between the Jews and the Samaritans. John 4:9 (NKJV). On that day, He wasn’t really interested in drinking of the woman’s water, His utmost goal was to initiate a conversation with her and prompt her to ask for the Living Water. He recognized the vacuum and thirst in her life and was determined to fill it with the Living water.

What makes the Living water ‘Living’ is the presence of Eternal Life in it. There are several other sources of water you could rely on but only the Living Water will eternally quench your thirst, every other sources is devoid of eternal life.
Jesus didn’t promise to give us a ‘one-time’ source of water, He promised to give us a fountain, an eternal source, an endless spring. John 4:14 (NKJV) “…but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”
