In God, We Boast!

Jonah 4:9

Then God said to Jonah, “Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?” And he said, “It is right for me to be angry, even to death!” – Jonah 4:9. The same way God is asking you “Is it right for you to complain?” Thinking about all that happened in 2020; from the pandemic to various protests which claimed many lives and properties. Isn’t it also right for you to thank God?

You will be indebted to God that protects and preserves you through thick and thin over the years. Many people have come and gone but God chose to save you – many things have ceased to function this year except for the power of God which is yes and amen. 

Then, in whom should we boast? Psalm 44:8 Without further argument, our wisdom in trusting in the one who sees the end right from the beginning. You won’t appreciate God better if you see your problem before you see God. 

Note:

• Fix your gaze on what God is saying on a matter, not the matter.
• Genuine Thanksgiving is not from the mouth, but the heart!
• Stop complaining! Think deeply and worship God for His faithfulness.
• In any situation, always find hope in God.

There are too many things to thank God for this year. It is now left for you to thank God and not just a mere exercise or a sort of routine.
