Lifted; Jehovah, the lifter of my head! [Pt.2]
By Rev. Dr. Adesina Abegunde on August 15, 2022
It is not enough to know that God can lift your head; you must also have an experiential knowledge like the psalmist in the book of psalms 3:3 which says; “But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.” The psalmist here 👆 was able to say that because he’s experienced God as the lifter of His head.
As God’s children, we must know that the plan of God for us is to experience the reality of His word while we are still on earth. And inherent in God’s word is all that is needed for its fulfillment not neglecting your own part as well…
In the book of Jeremiah chapter 52 verse 31; we saw how the head of Jehoiachin the king of Judah was lifted up by Evilmerodach king of Babylon from the prison after he has spent 37 years in the captivity.
Jeremiah 52:31; “Now it came to pass in the thirty-seventh year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-fifth day of the month, that Evil-Merodach king of Babylon, in the first year of his reign, lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah and brought him out of prison.”
From the text above, we see that God’s lifting for us is an immediate thing- it’s a matter of ‘NOW.’
Similarly, when God wants to lift a man 👨, He uses a man as seen in the Bible passage above…
Below are some realities that surround the life of a lifted person;
1. Relief and Deliverance,
2. Favor and Kindness,
3. There is a Change of Level,
4. A Change of Garment ,
5. Communion with the King,
6. Escape from Survival Syndrome.
In this message, God’s servant explained these realities in details and the place of favor in experiencing divine lifting.
