My Watch

By Rev. Dr. Adesina Abegunde on September 9, 2020 about

“I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guardpost. There I will wait to see what the lord says and how he will answer my complaint.” – Habakkuk 2:1 (NLT)

Have you taken time out to think about the current situation of your society or family? Have you ever thought that the solution can come through you?

Habakkuk was a man of like passion, who consistently and intentionally seek God. He saw and lifted the burden of his dear nation and all unpleasant situations around him to God in his place of prayer.

“A man without a burden for his generation, will be a burden for his generation”

Do you want to be a blessing in your generation or a burden? Choose wisely!

Just like a Watchman stand in his guard post to see coming calamities and find possible solutions beforehand, we as Christians should also stand our watch in our place of prayer (the war room) and believe God for testimonies.

The power of prayer can’t be overemphasized in a Christian life, just as we all can’t do without oxygen, we also can’t survive the storm and worries of this world without prayer!
