SERMON: RE-POSITIONED BY DIVINE VISITATION (PART 1)

When God visits a man he re-positioned the man. God can re-position man to a lower level as well. Divine visitation is on two sides; he comes with divine blessings for the righteous and also judgments on evil. Our God is a merciful God but if he is coming to decide a matter nothing can change it.

To be Re-positioned by Divine visitation has a lot to do with your identity. When God came in the cool of the evening to visit Adam in the garden, Adam was re-positioned negatively because of what he had done but when God reached out to him, Adam said; “I heard the sound of You in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself. But God answered him saying “Who told you that you were naked?…”

If God shows up now, what will he meet? if he comes to visit you now, what will he meet? How is your Life? These and many more are the questions that we need to ask ourselves. Whatever will not give you the confidence to approach your heavenly father freely, can also make you not make heaven. As believers, we should be discerning enough and live our lives circumspectly in order not to miss out on God.
