THE PREVAILING POWER OF GOD’S MERCY (Text: Luke 18:35-43)

Pastor Felicien Juh started by asking that; in times like this, what should we do? And he answered by saying that: the only thing that we can do is to ask for the mercy of God; Because it is the only solution that can prevail in a time like this.

He defines mercy as the combination of Christ-like character. He also said mercy is a free gift but someone (Jesus) paid for it.

These are the things we need to do in times like this just as seen in the life of Bartimeaus (Luke 18:35-43);

1.Ask questions;
2.Recognize your need;
3.Follow Jesus, call for help & cry for mercy;`
4.Have deeper intimacy & personal walk with Jesus;
5.Open up to him that you’re helpless and you need his mercy.
The world’s power is failing, nations are in fear, but the prevailing power of God’s mercy is all that we need in a time like this.
