The Friendly Father -Father’s Day Message

Fatherhood and friendship looks like two opposite realities. African fatherhood and the act of being friendly while at it, is like a paradox. It looks difficult but it is a possibility. Sometimes, the responsibilities that comes with fatherhood makes some fathers “delete” the DNA of friendship in them. Although, Fathering is a heavy responsibility; It is a call to sacrifice and servanthood.

Interestingly, you have no idea what it takes to be a father unless you become one or you are already one!
Fathering is the ability to take responsibility of the wellbeing of people, it is like nurturing, and intentionally deciding to make something grow. On the other hand, being Friendly means to not harm someone or something.

Friendship is all about commitment and taking up responsibilities.

However, the family (wife and children) must know how to appropriately receive the fathering and friendly side of every father in order to help them fully become what God has purposed for them
