Unraveling The Trinity

Have you ever been caught up in an argument about the concept of ‘The Trinity’? Then, this message is just for you.

It is not news that the concept of ‘The Trinity’ is one of the most controversial issues often discussed. The doctrine of the Trinity is unarguably one of the most important things that distinguishes Christianity from other religions. ‘Trinity’ is a word used to summarize and capture the Revelation of God altogether. The Trinity is the way that God revealed Himself in the Bible and not just a nickname given to God by someone.

GOD eternally exists as Three Persons. The ‘Three Persons’ in this concept does not mean three individuals but three forms of manifestation and yet each is distinct from each other.
God is one in essence, yet three persons. ‘Essence’ in this context refers to a set of characteristics that precisely define something. The Father is fully God, The Son is fully God and The Holy Spirit is fully God. God is a unique essence that has no equals and defies every definition. Whoever claims to be a born again Christian but denies the doctrine of The Trinity is really not serving the God of the Bible.

GOD is knowable, yet incomprehensible. The incomprehensibility of this course has led to the creation of lots of false doctrines. This message also talked about some of the erroneous views and heresies.
Some of which are;
1. Dynamic Monarchianism
2. Modalistic Monarchianism
3. Arianism.

True worship always arises from an accurate knowledge of the God we claim to serve. If you don’t know God, your worship is just a mere ‘religion’. God is a mystery you can’t understand just by your personal knowledge, it requires personal revelations and encounter. We can only know God to the extent to which He wants us to know. (Deut. 29:29 NKJV).

This message is also backed up with a lot of affirmative Scriptures that confirm the accuracy of The Trinity. Some of which are John 1:18, John 1:1, John 17:5. The Trinity is an eternal fellowship of love.

The Trinity has been summarized to 3 short sentences:
1. God is three Persons.
2. Each person is fully God.
3.There is one God.

God is Trinity from Eternity and is Trinity till Eternity.
