Where is Safety?

There are loads of evil things happening around. The headlines are populated by sad news and it becomes critical for us to then ask; WHERE IS SAFETY?

If the rich are dying, mighty men are falling and we can see torment around us; where then can we seek refuge? The answer is; in God. Our place of safety is not in this world, status, wealth nor location, but rather in God. Psalms 46:1 and 7 says; “God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.” and “The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge.”

For sure, we are in a world where evil can not seize to happen, but our confidence as Christians in the midst of all these happenings is that “our life is hidden with Christ in God.” – Col. 3:3 NKJV.
